Grilled Ahi Tuna With Lemony Labneh

fish recipe

Ingredients:

For the Grilled Ahi Tuna:

➤2 Ahi tuna steaks (about 6-8 ounces each)

➤2 tablespoons olive oil

➤1 teaspoon black sesame seeds (optional)

➤Salt and black pepper to taste

➤Lemon wedges for serving

For the Lemony Labneh:

➤1 cup labneh (strained yogurt)

➤Zest and juice of 1 lemon

➤2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped

➤2 cloves garlic, minced

➤Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

For the Grilled Ahi Tuna:

1. Preheat the Grill:

➤Preheat your grill to high heat.

2. Season the Tuna:

➤Brush the Ahi tuna steaks with olive oil and season them generously with salt and black pepper. If        you like, sprinkle black sesame seeds over the tuna for added texture and flavor.

3. Grill the Tuna:

➤Place the tuna steaks on the hot grill and cook for about 1-2 minutes per side for rare to medium-          rare  doneness. Tuna cooks quickly, so be careful not to overcook it; you want the center to remain        pink.

4. Remove from Grill:

➤Once done, remove the grilled tuna steaks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. This           allows the juices to redistribute.

For the Lemony Labneh:

1. Prepare the Labneh:

➤In a bowl, combine the labneh, lemon zest, lemon juice, finely chopped fresh dill, minced garlic,          salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

2. Taste and Adjust:

➤Taste the labneh mixture and adjust the seasoning with more salt, pepper, or lemon juice, if needed,      to suit your preferences.

To Serve:

1. Slice the Tuna:

➤Slice the grilled Ahi tuna into thin strips.

2. Plate:

➤Spread a generous dollop of the lemony labneh on each serving plate.

3. Arrange the Tuna:

➤Arrange the sliced grilled tuna on top of the labneh.

4. Garnish:

➤Garnish with additional fresh dill and lemon wedges.

5. Serve:

➤Serve the grilled Ahi tuna with lemony labneh immediately while it's still warm.

This dish is a fantastic combination of flavors and textures, with the smoky, tender grilled tuna complemented by the creamy, tangy labneh. Enjoy this restaurant-quality meal at home!
