Chicken 65 prepare
Chicken 65 is a popular Indian dish known for its spicy and flavorful taste. Here's a recipe to prepare Chicken 65:
Ingredients:
500 grams boneless chicken, cut into small pieces
2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 tablespoon cornflour
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Curry leaves for garnish
Green chilies, slit (optional)
For the marinade:
1 cup plain yogurt
1 tablespoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder (for color)
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
Salt to taste
Instructions:
In a large bowl, combine the boneless chicken pieces with ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, cumin powder, cornflour, all-purpose flour, and salt. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes to an hour.
In another bowl, prepare the marinade by combining yogurt, red chili powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, ginger-garlic paste, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth paste.
Add the marinated chicken pieces to the yogurt marinade and mix until the chicken is well coated. Allow it to marinate for at least 2 hours, or you can refrigerate it overnight for best results.
Heat oil in a deep pan or wok for deep frying. Once the oil is hot, carefully drop the marinated chicken pieces into the oil, a few at a time. Fry the chicken until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil. Repeat until all the chicken pieces are fried.
In a separate pan, heat a little oil and add curry leaves and green chilies (if using). Saute for a minute until the curry leaves turn crispy.
Add the fried chicken pieces to the pan with curry leaves and toss well to coat the chicken evenly with the aromatic flavors. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes on low heat.
Serve hot as an appetizer or as a side dish with rice or roti. Garnish with additional curry leaves and lemon wedges if desired.
Enjoy your delicious and spicy Chicken 65!
