Chicken gravy prepare

Sure! Here's a simple recipe to prepare chicken gravy:

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1.  In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

2.  Add the all-purpose flour to the melted butter and whisk continuously until it forms a smooth paste. Cook the mixture for about 1-2 minutes to get rid of the raw flour taste.

3.  Gradually pour in the chicken broth while whisking constantly to avoid lumps.

4.  Add the milk to the mixture and continue whisking until well combined.

5.  Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper.

6.  Bring the gravy to a simmer and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to your desired consistency.

7.  Taste and adjust the seasonings according to your preference.

8.  Remove the gravy from heat and strain it through a fine-mesh sieve if you want a smoother texture (optional).

9.  Serve the chicken gravy hot over roasted or grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, or any other dish of your choice.

10.  Note: You can customize the recipe by adding additional herbs, spices, or other ingredients to suit your taste. Enjoy your homemade chicken gravy!
