Keema Recipe Prepare
Keema prepare
Sure! Keema is a popular Indian dish made with minced meat, typically lamb or beef, cooked with aromatic spices and vegetables. Here's a basic recipe for preparing Keema:
Ingredients:
500 grams minced meat (lamb or beef)
2 tablespoons oil
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1-inch piece of ginger, grated
2 green chilies, finely chopped (adjust according to your spice preference)
2 tomatoes, finely chopped
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust according to your spice preference)
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Heat oil in a large pan or skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and green chilies to the pan. Stir and cook for a minute until the raw aroma disappears.
Add the minced meat to the pan and break up any lumps using a spoon. Cook the meat until it browns evenly.
Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook until they soften and release their juices.
Now, add the cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt to taste. Mix well to coat the meat with the spices.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let the Keema simmer for about 15-20 minutes. This will allow the flavors to meld together and the meat to cook through.
Stir occasionally during the cooking process to prevent sticking and ensure even cooking.
Once the Keema is cooked and the flavors have melded together, garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
Serve hot with naan bread, rice, or roti.
Feel free to adjust the spices and seasonings according to your taste preferences. You can also add vegetables like peas or carrots to the Keema for added texture and flavor. Enjoy your delicious homemade Keema!
