1 green bell pepper (capsicum, diced)
2 tomatoes (pureed)
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
1 teaspoon garam masala
Salt to taste
1/2 cup heavy cream
Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing
Instructions:
In a bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and oil to make the marinade for paneer tikka.
Add paneer cubes to the marinade and gently coat them. Allow the paneer to marinate for at least 30 minutes or longer in the refrigerator.
Preheat your grill or use a stovetop grill pan. Grill the marinated paneer cubes until they turn golden brown and have grill marks. Keep them aside.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until they become translucent.
Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute until the raw smell goes away.
Add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well and cook for a minute.
Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the masala and the mixture thickens.
Add diced green bell pepper (capsicum) and cook for a few minutes until it becomes slightly tender.
Add grilled paneer cubes to the sauce and mix gently, ensuring all the paneer pieces are coated with the sauce. Cook for a few minutes.
Stir in heavy cream and salt to taste. Simmer the dish for 5-7 minutes until the flavors blend well.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Your delicious Paneer Tikka Masala is ready to be served! It pairs well with naan, roti, or rice. Enjoy your meal!
