Aloo Ke Gola Kebab prepare

Aloo Ke Gola Kebab, also known as Potato Balls Kebab, is a delicious vegetarian kebab made with mashed potatoes and a blend of spices. These kebabs are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Here's a recipe to prepare Aloo Ke Gola Kebab:

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium-sized potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onions
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

For the coating:

  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (maida)
  • Water for making a smooth batter

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the boiled and mashed potatoes, bread crumbs, finely chopped onions, coriander leaves, green chili, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix everything well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. Take a small portion of the potato mixture and shape it into a round ball or gola. Repeat the same process with the remaining mixture to make more gola kebabs.

  3. In a separate bowl, prepare the coating by combining all-purpose flour (maida) with enough water to make a smooth batter without any lumps.

  4. Heat oil in a deep pan or kadai for frying over medium heat.

  5. Dip each potato ball into the prepared coating batter, ensuring it is coated evenly from all sides.

  6. Gently place the coated potato ball in the hot oil and deep fry until it turns golden brown and crispy. Fry a few gola kebabs at a time, depending on the size of your pan, to avoid overcrowding.

  7. Once the kebabs are cooked, remove them from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to remove any excess oil.

  8. Serve the Aloo Ke Gola Kebabs hot as an appetizer or snack. They can be enjoyed on their own or with mint chutney or ketchup.

These Aloo Ke Gola Kebabs are crispy on the outside and have a soft and flavorful potato filling. They make a great vegetarian option for parties, evening snacks, or as a side dish with meals.
