Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat butter and olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the pan and sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
  4. Add sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown.
  5. Sprinkle dried thyme, salt, and pepper over the mushrooms. Stir well to combine.
