Lemony Prawn Pasta - Prawn Recipes
Ingredients:
➤250g (about 8.8 oz) large prawns, peeled and deveined
➤200g (7 oz) linguine or your favorite pasta
➤3 tablespoons olive oil
➤4 cloves of garlic, minced
➤Zest of 1 lemon
➤Juice of 1 lemon
➤1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
➤1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
➤Salt and black pepper to taste
➤Grated Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the Pasta:
➔ Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.
2. Prepare the Prawns:
➔ Pat dry the prawns with paper towels and season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
➔ In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat.
➔ Add the prawns and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3. Make the Lemon Garlic Sauce:
➔ In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

4. Combine the Pasta and Prawns:
➔ Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the lemon garlic sauce. Toss to combine and coat the pasta with the flavors.
5. Add the Lemon Juice and Parsley:
➔ Squeeze the juice of one lemon over the pasta and toss to incorporate.
➔ Add the cooked prawns back to the skillet and gently toss to combine.
➔ Stir in the chopped parsley for a fresh burst of flavor.
6. Season and Serve:
➔ Taste the pasta and adjust the seasoning with salt and black pepper if needed.
➔ Divide the lemony prawn pasta among serving plates.
7. Garnish and Enjoy:
➔If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta before serving.
