Popcorn Prawns - Prawn Recipes

Ingredients:

For the prawns:

➤1 pound large prawns, peeled and deveined

➤Salt and pepper to taste

➤1/2 teaspoon paprika

➤1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

➤1/4 teaspoon onion powder

➤Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)

For the coating:

➤1 cup all-purpose flour

➤2 eggs, beaten

➤2 cups breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

➤Oil, for frying

For the dipping sauce:

➤1/2 cup mayonnaise

➤1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

➤1 tablespoon honey

➤1 teaspoon lemon juice

➤Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat your frying oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep fryer or a deep, heavy-bottomed pot.

2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne          pepper (if using).

3. Dip each prawn into the seasoned flour mixture, making sure it's coated evenly. Shake off any excess      flour.

4. Dip the flour-coated prawns into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess egg to drip off.

5. Roll the prawns in the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to make sure the breadcrumbs adhere to the            prawns. Place the coated prawns on a plate or tray.

6. Carefully place the coated prawns into the hot oil using tongs or a slotted spoon. Fry the prawns in          batches to avoid overcrowding the fryer.

7. Fry the prawns for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove them from       the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.

8. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, salt, and pepper      to make the dipping sauce.

9. Serve the crispy popcorn prawns immediately with the dipping sauce on the side.

10. Enjoy your delicious Popcorn Prawns as an appetizer, snack, or party treat!

Feel free to adjust the seasoning and spices according to your taste preferences.
