Prawn & Broccoli Noodles - Prawn Recipes 



Ingredients:

➤200g (7 oz) medium-sized prawns, peeled and deveined

➤200g (7 oz) broccoli florets

➤200g (7 oz) rice noodles or egg noodles

➤2 tablespoons vegetable oil

➤3 cloves garlic, minced

➤1 teaspoon ginger, minced

➤2 tablespoons soy sauce

➤1 tablespoon oyster sauce

➤1 teaspoon sesame oil

➤1 teaspoon honey or brown sugar (optional)

➤1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

➤Salt and pepper to taste

➤2 green onions, sliced diagonally for garnish

➤Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)



Instructions:

1. Cook the Noodles:

➧ Cook the rice or egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.


2. Blanch the Broccoli:

➧Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt. Add the broccoli florets and blanch for about 2           minutes, until they are bright green and slightly tender. Drain and set aside.


3. Prepare the Sauce:

➧In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, honey (if using), and red            pepper flakes. Set aside.


4. Cook the Prawns:

➧Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the prawns and    cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the prawns from the pan      and set aside.


5. Sauté Aromatics:

➧In the same pan, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and ginger and sauté     for about 1 minute until fragrant.


6. Combine Everything:

➧Add the cooked noodles, blanched broccoli, and cooked prawns back to the pan with the sautéed            aromatics.


7. Add Sauce:

➧Pour the prepared sauce over the noodles, prawns, and broccoli. Toss everything together to coat well.    Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.


8. Adjust Seasoning:

➧Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt, pepper, or additional red pepper flakes if desired.


9. Serve:

➧Divide the prawn and broccoli noodles among serving plates. Garnish with sliced green onions and        sesame seeds if using.
