Ingredients:

➤2 whole trout, cleaned and gutted

➤2-3 tablespoons olive oil

➤Salt and pepper to taste

➤2 lemons, thinly sliced

➤4-6 sprigs of fresh herbs (such as thyme, rosemary, or dill)

➤4 cloves of garlic, minced

➤Optional: additional herbs and spices of your choice

➤Aluminum foil or parchment paper

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Prepare the Trout:

➔Rinse the trout thoroughly under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

➔Season the inside and outside of the trout with salt and pepper. You can also add other spices like            paprika or herbs like thyme to enhance the flavor.

3. Stuff the Trout:

➔Place a few slices of lemon, a couple of sprigs of herbs, and a portion of minced garlic inside the            cavity of each trout. This will infuse the fish with flavor as it roasts.

4. Truss the Trout (Optional):

➔Trussing involves tying the fish with kitchen twine to help it maintain its shape while cooking. This         step is optional but can be useful if you want the fish to look more presentable.

5. Prepare the Baking Sheet:

➔Lay out a large piece of aluminum foil or parchment paper on a baking sheet. You'll use this to wrap      and cook the trout.

6. Roasting the Trout:

➔Place the stuffed trout on the prepared foil or parchment paper. Drizzle olive oil over the trout, and       then place additional lemon slices and herbs on top.

➔Fold the foil or parchment paper over the trout and seal the edges, creating a packet. Make sure it's        well-sealed to trap the steam and flavors inside.

7. Baking:

➔Place the baking sheet with the trout packets in the preheated oven. Roast for about 15-20 minutes,       or  until the trout is cooked through. Cooking time can vary depending on the size of the trout.

8. Checking for Doneness:

➔To check if the trout is cooked, gently open the packet and use a fork to flake the flesh near the              backbone. If the flesh flakes easily and is opaque, the fish is done.

9. Serving:

➔Carefully open the packets to release the steam. Transfer the trout to serving plates. You can serve          the  trout as is or gently remove the skin before serving, if desired.

10. Garnish and Enjoy:

➔Garnish the roasted trout with fresh herbs and lemon wedges. Serve with your choice of side dishes,      such as roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.

Remember that cooking times might vary based on the size and thickness of the trout, so keep an eye on it to avoid overcooking. Enjoy your delicious whole roasted trout!
