For the Salmon:

➤4 salmon fillets (6-8 ounces each)

➤Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

➤2 jalapeño peppers, thinly sliced (adjust to your preferred level of heat)

➤Zest of 1 lime

➤Zest of 1 orange

➤2 cloves garlic, minced

➤2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Citrus Glaze:

➤Juice of 1 lime

➤Juice of 1 orange

➤2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

➤1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari (for a gluten-free option)

➤1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

➤1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:

➤Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Season the Salmon:

➤Season both sides of the salmon fillets with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Place the salmon         fillets in a baking dish, skin-side down.

3. Prepare the Jalapeño Citrus Mixture:

➤In a bowl, combine the thinly sliced jalapeños, lime zest, orange zest, minced garlic, and olive oil.         Mix well.

4. Coat the Salmon:

➤Spoon the jalapeño citrus mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, pressing it down gently to adhere.

5. Bake the Salmon:

➤Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon         flakes easily with a fork and is cooked to your desired level of doneness.

6. Make the Citrus Glaze:

➤While the salmon is baking, prepare the citrus glaze. In a small saucepan, combine the lime juice,         orange juice, honey or maple syrup, soy sauce or tamari, and grated ginger. Bring the mixture to a           simmer over medium heat.

7. Thicken the Glaze (Optional):

➤If you want a thicker glaze, mix 1 teaspoon of cornstarch with a tablespoon of cold water to make a      slurry. Stir the slurry into the simmering citrus mixture and cook for another minute until it thickens.

8. Glaze the Salmon:

➤Once the salmon is done baking, remove it from the oven. Drizzle the citrus glaze over the salmon          fillets.

9. Serve:

➤Serve the jalapeño citrus salmon hot with your favorite sides, such as rice, quinoa, or steamed               vegetables.

10. Enjoy:

➤Garnish with extra jalapeño slices and citrus zest if desired, and enjoy your delicious jalapeño citrus      salmon!

This dish combines spicy and citrusy flavors for a unique and tasty salmon recipe. Adjust the amount of jalapeño to control the level of heat to your liking.
