Ingredients:


For the Pizza Dough:

➤1 pound pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)


For the Toppings:

➤1 cup canned or marinated artichoke hearts, drained and sliced

➤1 1/2 cups grated Fontina cheese

➤1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

➤1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn into pieces

➤2 cloves garlic, minced

➤2 tablespoons olive oil

➤Salt and black pepper to taste

➤Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)



1. Preheat the Oven:

➤Preheat your oven to the highest temperature it can go, typically around 475-500°F (245-260°C). If       v  you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats.


2. Prepare the Pizza Dough:

➤Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. If using a pizza stone,                transfer the rolled-out dough onto a piece of parchment paper to make transferring it to the hot stone      easier.


3. Assemble the Pizza:

➤Drizzle olive oil over the pizza dough, and use a pastry brush to evenly coat the surface.

➤Sprinkle minced garlic evenly over the dough.

➤Spread a layer of grated Fontina cheese over the dough, leaving a small border around the edge for        the crust.

➤Scatter the sliced artichoke hearts on top of the cheese.

➤Add a pinch of salt, freshly ground black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if you want some heat).

➤Finish with a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese.


4. Bake the Pizza:

➤If using a pizza stone, carefully slide the parchment paper with the pizza onto the preheated stone in     the oven. If not using a stone, place the pizza on a baking sheet.

➤Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese      is bubbly and slightly browned.


5. Finish and Serve:

➤Remove the pizza from the oven and immediately sprinkle torn basil leaves over the hot pizza.

➤Allow the pizza to cool for a minute or two, then slice it into pieces and serve.
