Ingredients:

➤4 large eggs

➤4 slices of bread (white or whole wheat)

➤2 tablespoons butter, softened

➤Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Deviled Spread:

➤2 tablespoons mayonnaise

➤1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

➤1 teaspoon white wine vinegar

➤1/2 teaspoon paprika

➤Salt and pepper, to taste

➤Chopped fresh chives or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Soft-Boiled Eggs:

➤Bring a pot of water to a gentle boil.

➤Carefully add the eggs to the boiling water using a slotted spoon.

➤Cook for about 4-5 minutes for a soft-boiled consistency.

➤Remove the eggs and place them in an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Once cooled, gently tap        the eggs on a hard surface to crack the shell, then peel.

2. Deviled Spread:

➤In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white wine vinegar, paprika, salt, and            pepper. Adjust the seasonings to taste.

3. Prepare the Soldiers:

➤Cut each slice of bread into thin strips, creating "soldiers" that can be dipped into the soft-boiled            eggs.

4. Butter the Soldiers:

➤Spread a thin layer of softened butter on one side of each bread soldier.

5. Serve:

➤Arrange the deviled spread, soft-boiled eggs, and buttered soldiers on a plate.

➤Sprinkle chopped chives or parsley on top of the deviled spread for added flavor and a pop of color.

6. Enjoy:

➤Dip the buttered soldiers into the soft-boiled eggs, and scoop up some of the deviled spread for a            delightful and flavorful bite.

This dish is not only tasty but also a fun way to enjoy a classic breakfast combination. Feel free to customize the deviled spread with your favorite herbs or spices for a unique twist!
