Ingredients:

➤2 cups all-purpose flour (maida)

➤1 teaspoon baking powder

➤1/2 teaspoon baking soda

➤1/4 teaspoon salt

➤2 tablespoons plain yogurt

➤2 tablespoons melted butter or ghee

➤3/4 cup milk (approximate, as needed for dough)

➤Extra flour for dusting

➤Melted butter or ghee (for brushing on top)

➤Chopped fresh coriander leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

2. Add the plain yogurt and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Mix well to combine.

3. Gradually add the milk and knead the mixture to form a soft, smooth dough. Adjust the quantity of        milk as needed.

4. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for about 2 hours. This allows the baking soda to          activate and helps in making the naan soft.

5. After the resting period, divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a smooth round shape.

6. Preheat a skillet or tawa on medium-high heat.

7. Take one dough ball, dust it with flour, and roll it into a thin, oval or round shape.

8. Place the rolled naan on the hot skillet. Cook until bubbles start to appear on the surface.

9. Flip the naan and cook the other side. Press gently with a spatula to ensure even cooking and to               make  the naan puff up.

10. Once both sides are cooked and the naan has a golden brown color, remove it from the skillet.

11. Brush the cooked naan with melted butter or ghee. Optionally, sprinkle chopped coriander leaves             for  garnish.

12. Repeat the process with the remaining dough balls.
